Project Manager - Poland

Full-Time in Wroclaw, PL - Mid Level - Engineering

PaintJet is redefining the industrial painting market by introducing advanced robotics, AI and material sciences to optimize the coating process. Our automated approach tackles the systemic labor shortage by focusing on increasing painter productivity and precision application while reducing material waste. We are hiring a proficient and experienced Account Executive to help us grow our business nationally.

We’re looking for a project manager to assist in the creation, and management of an engineering office located in Wroclaw, Poland. This position will also be responsible for managing software development projects among a small team (4-8) engineers.

This is NOT a remote position. The candidate must be able to work at the Wroclaw, Poland office. Hybrid work arrangements may be possible under certain circumstances.

We will NOT consider candidates requiring a VISA for employment.

As PaintJet’s Project Manager - Poland, you will:

Office Administration

  • Serve as the Office Administrator responsible for general administrative duties.
  • Oversee procurement and manage office logistics.
  • Handle specific tasks such as arranging for equipment rentals (e.g., boom lifts), searching for office spaces, and executing minor projects and office-related errands.
  • Manage legal compliance for the Polish office.
  • Perform HR functions including payroll processing, insurance management, and other personnel-related duties.
  • Manage the local budget, including petty cash handling.

Project Management

  • Define and set the scope of tasks for projects.
  • Proactively identify and address barriers to meeting project schedules and objectives.
  • Establish the project framework, outlining requirements, deliverables, and priorities.
  • Monitor and report on work progress, and solve organizational issues as they arise.
  • Facilitate communication with team members in Taiwan (TW) and the United States (US) to enhance project collaboration.
  • Apply knowledge of Jira and Confluence to manage project details efficiently.
  • Travel to the US and TW as needed, which is expected to be less than 10% of the time.

Education & Work Related Experience

  • Native-Level Polish Fluency, Advanced English fluency.
  • 10-15 years of work experience
  • Experience in opening new office locations within Poland, by international companies.
  • Knowledge of Polish employment labor laws, preferred.
  • Direct experience in the recruitment of engineering professionals within Poland, preferred.
  • Scrum Master Certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days from the date of hire.
  • PMP Certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within 360 days from the date of hire.

Work Hours: This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours

Work Location: Wroclaw metropolitan area - relocation benefits will not be provided.

Travel Requirements: Seasonally, this position requires the incumbent to travel internationally from time to time.
